Messaging API Update: Offline (Spooled) Message Delivery Now Available
Mxit's REST Messaging API has been updated to add offline message delivery!
If your application sends a message to a Mxit user with the REST Messaging API, and that user is offline, the message will be delivered to the user when they next sign into Mxit. Messages are held for offline delivery for up to 7 days: after 7 days, the message is discarded.
Mxit application developers don't need to do anything new to enable offline delivery: it's automatically done for all messages sent through the REST Messaging API.
